Before updating any of the NUM applications, please restart your Macintosh and hold down the shift key during startup. After you have completed the update restart your Macintosh normally. These updaters are for installed versions of Norton Disk Doctor (NDD), Speed Disk (SD) or Filesaver (FS) and is NOT to be used to update versions on startup disks or locked, original installation floppies. This updater will only work with U.S. and international English versions of Norton Utilities for Macintosh 3.5.0 or 3.5.1. NOTE: Please be aware that the patcher are only necessary if you are using Apple's new Extended format (HFS+) volume. If you are not using HFS+, you don't need these updaters. What's Fixed in Version 3.5.1 ¥ Resolves an issue with MacOS 8 where NDD would report "incorrect Finder settings". ¥ Fixes an issue where Speed Disk would report "b-tree records out of order" and Norton Disk Doctor would not identify the problem. ¥ Resolves an issue where FileSaver would conflict with different variations of PPP software. ¥ Resolves an issue where a volume could be mounted on the desktop via an alias while Speed Disk was optimizing the volume. ¥ Addresses an issue where the arrow keys could be used to select another volume while Speed Disk was optimizing a volume. ¥ Correctly identifies Code Warrior Pro projects under the Software Development optimization profile.
